The Create Your PR workshop series gives you the tools to be able to identify PR opportunities and take action to implement your PR strategy.

Each interactive 2.5hr workshop allows time for you to work through the content so you can begin creating your media tool kit.  Class size is limited to 12 to ensure each participant has adequate time to brainstorm their ideas with workshop facilitator, Julie Johnston, to create a tailored media strategy.

To adapt to the changing covid conditions, these workshops will now be held ONLINE to ensure they can all go ahead regardless of isolation requirements, which also enables the option to access the replay if illness prevents you from participating in the live workshop.

How to Write a Media Release

Journalists are inundated with emails every day and working to tight deadlines, so it’s essential that you are sending them a media release that grabs their attention, gives them the information they need to know, and slip in some of your key messages WITHOUT being advertorial or salesy.  Of course, once you’ve perfected your media release, you need to get it in the hands of the right journalists, so a qualified media distribution list is crucial to increasing your chances of media success.
